There are no formal entry requirements for this Safeguarding CPD short course. It is suitable for anyone working in, or training for, roles within childcare, education, and youth settings, including nurseries, preschools, schools, childminding settings, and other environments supporting children and young people.
This course is particularly relevant for early years practitioners, teachers, teaching assistants, childcare professionals, and support staff who need to understand safeguarding responsibilities and how to recognise and respond to concerns about a child’s welfare. It is also beneficial for those wishing to refresh their knowledge of safeguarding policies, procedures, and current guidance.
A good standard of written and spoken English is recommended, as learners will engage with written content and complete short reflective activities.
