Entry Requirements
To enrol on the NCFE CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Advanced Practitioner in Schools and Colleges (603/2474/0), learners must meet the following criteria:
General Requirements:
Aged 18 years or over
Hold a Level 3 qualification in a related subject
Be employed in a school or college setting at Level 3
A good standard of written and spoken English
Basic literacy and numeracy skills (Level 2 or equivalent is recommended)
Additional Requirements:
A valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required to work with children
You must have access to a placement supervisor or mentor who can support and confirm your competence in the workplace

Evidence from your placement will be used to support your assessments, including direct observations, witness testimonies, and reflective practice
