Entry Requirements

To enrol on the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Working with Babies and Young Children Under 2 Years (610/5193/7), learners must meet the following criteria:

General Requirements:

  • Aged 16 years or over

  • Already be working or volunteering in an early years-related role, working with babies and young children under 2 years.

  • A good standard of written and spoken English

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills (Level 2 or equivalent is recommended)

  • A genuine interest in working with babies

Placement Requirement:
